As the Clinical Services Manager, Finny Staples’ career has centred on managing public and private operating theatres. Originally from Ireland, Finny travelled to Australia in 1988, and has worked at Royal North Shore Hospital and the Mater Hospital, where she commissioned the Theatres and managed them for eight years. Finny has also worked at Castlecrag Private Hospital where she managed the operating theatres there for 4 years. She then established her own company, ‘Operating Theatre Solutions’ to conduct theatre and CSSD reviews as well as assisting managers in their roles. Since her appointment at IVFAustralia, she commissioned this very modern day surgery and is currently managing and promoting the facility.
